Tyrox.co.uk is a website developed by four University students, two Manchester University graduates and two Nottingham University undergraduates. The Tyrox team felt that there was no clear place to get everything you needed out of your University and as a result the development of the Tyrox concept began. Launching in 2009 in Manchester, the Tyrox team pushed their idea through to the students with great success and the usefulness of the website was appreciated by the University of Manchester as it was awarded the "Venture Out 2015" award for its usefulness to the local area. After a successful launch year Tyrox started to develop the idea of expansion. The next city for the website was to be Nottingham, the University where two of the Tyrox team currently study. Launching in the 2011/12 academic year the Tyrox team are confident that the students in the city of Nottingham will be able to benefit from the great services Tyrox has to offer.
